SNMP monitoring built for MSPs
Look after every client network from one place. Add a site for each customer, install a small collector there, and see every device, its status and its port traffic. No VPN into customer networks and nothing to open on their firewalls.
Free for up to 5 monitored devices. Paid plans from $24.99 a month, and 30% cheaper when you pay yearly.
How it fits the way you work
A hosted service. You do not build or maintain a monitoring server, and each customer only needs one small program on their network.
One site per customer
Every customer is a site with its own collectors, devices, maps and alerts. Your plan counts monitored devices across all your sites together, so a quiet site does not waste your allowance.
Nothing inbound at the customer
The collector only makes outbound connections to NetDraw. There are no port forwards to set up and no VPN to maintain into customer networks.
Finds every device itself
The collector scans its own network, plus any extra subnets you add, and lists everything it finds. It tries your SNMP v1, v2c and v3 profiles in order and remembers which one works for each device. Devices that only answer ping are still listed.
Alerts you define
Write your own rules: a device down, slow response, a busy or erroring port, or a collector gone offline. Scope each rule to sites, devices or tags, and send it to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram or any webhook.
Roles and per-site access
Give people the roles of owner, admin, technician or viewer. Technicians and viewers can be limited to the sites they look after, so a technician only sees their own clients.
Maps and documentation
Topology maps are built from what the network reports, and the free Diagram Builder is there for the documentation you draw by hand.
What NetDraw monitors on each device
Read over SNMP and ping by the collector, and charted for up to 30 days.
| What | How you see it |
|---|---|
| Up or down, and response time | Status on every device list and a response-time chart. Alert when a device is down for as long as you choose. |
| Uptime | Read from the device, so a reboot is visible. |
| Port traffic | In and out per port, with a chart for each, and an alert on utilisation if you want one. |
| Port errors and link state | Errors per second and whether a port is up, per port. |
| VLANs | Which VLANs are on a switch and how each port is set (access, trunk or hybrid), for devices that report them. |
Simple pricing across all your sites
Monitored devices are pooled across your whole account. Discovering and mapping devices is never charged.
| Plan | Collectors and monitored devices |
|---|---|
| Free, $0 | 1 collector, 5 monitored devices |
| $24.99 a month | 2 collectors, 200 monitored devices, and see and monitor every device found automatically |
| $39.99 a month | 5 collectors, 500 monitored devices |
| $49.99 a month | Unlimited collectors and devices, plus read-only API and AI agent access |
Questions
Do I need a VPN into each customer network?
No. The collector at the customer site only makes outbound connections to NetDraw, so nothing needs opening on their firewall and you do not need a VPN to monitor them.
How are devices counted?
Only monitored devices count against your plan, and they are pooled across all your sites. The collector finds and lists every device for free. On the free plan you choose which 5 to monitor. On paid plans you see every device found and can switch on monitoring for as many as your plan allows.
Can a technician only see some clients?
Yes. Technicians and viewers can be limited to chosen sites, and the devices, maps and alerts for other sites are hidden from them. Owners and admins always see every site.
Which devices can it monitor?
Anything that answers SNMP v1, v2c or v3, such as switches, routers, firewalls, access points, servers and printers. Devices that only answer ping are listed and monitored for up and down.
Can alerts go to our ticketing or PSA tool?
Alerts can go to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord and Telegram, and to any tool that accepts a webhook. Webhook messages are signed so you can check they came from NetDraw. There are no built-in integrations with specific PSA tools yet.
Is there an API?
The Enterprise plan includes a read-only API and access for AI agents such as Claude. Other plans use the web app.
